WHAT ARE OMBRÉ BROWS?

Ombré is permanent powdered brows technique done by machine for clients who prefer fuller result than hair strokes but still very soft. It’s a technique that looks like daily makeup done with eyebrow pencil or pomade. The tails of the brow are darker and fade lighter at the beginning of the brow, giving a perfect Ombré makeup affect.

Pros: Ombré powder brows use a more traditional tattooing method, with longer lasting results. The effects will be waterproof, smudge proof and completely natural. Additionally it works with all skin types including oily or combination skin unlike micro blading.

WHICH BROW SERVICE WILL GIVE ME THE MOST NATURAL LOOK?

This depends on the clients existing brow hairs. At the beginning of each appointment, there is a consultation. Your brow, artist will discuss, which method is most natural for you.

AM I ELIGIBLE FOR A BROW PROCEDURE?

We do not provide services for clients who are under 18 years old. You are in ineligible for brow services if you are: allergic to make up, pregnant, breast-feeding, diabetic, if you have glaucoma, skin diseases like keloids, shingles, herpes, eczema, psoriasis, HIV, hepatitis, skin, cancer, hemophilia, currently on chemotherapy/radiation or if you are taking skin medications like steroids, and Accutane. Exceptions to cancer patients, must be at least one year of post treatments. If you have additional questions regarding eligibility, please contact us before booking your appointment.

NO MORE DRAWING MY EYEBROWS EVERY MORNING? FOR REAL?

Yes! Ombré Micro-shading can last anywhere from  2 – 3 years.  A yearly touchup is recommended.


WILL I BE ABLE TO CHOSE MY OWN COLOR? 

No. Color selection is handled by the artist and yourself so you will be able to give your input. A collective decision will be made for what will work best on you based on multiple aspects such as overtone, undertone, type of skin and natural hair color etc.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY BROWS ARE TOO DARK OR TOO BIG?

Keep in mind your brows will lighten up 20-40% and additionally will shrink once they are fully healed. 

HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE FOR A NEW SET OF BROWS?

Every brand new set of brows require two sessions to be complete and achieve the desired look. The first session is the initial appointment, and the second session is the first touchup.

IS THE BROW PROCEDURE PAINFUL?

Most clients report no pain. Each client goes through a topical numbing process for about 20 minutes before the mapping stage. Once mapping is done, the outline is started. After the outline is complete, another layer of topical numbing is applied to the brow that is not being worked on at the time. Each client goes through about three applications of topical numbing.

HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT TO GET A TOUCH UP?

Touchup should be at least 4 to 6 weeks. After the first initial session, once the brows are fully healed.

WHAT SHOULD I NOT DO BEFORE MY SERVICE?

Do not work out 24 hours before the procedure.

Do not consume alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure.

Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.

Do not use any Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A 4 weeks prior.

Do not use any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure.

Do not wax or tint your brows one week before.

You have to be off any kind of Accutane for 1 year. NO Exceptions!
